Our tour of the Mphebatho Museum provides a world of knowledge and insights into the Pilanesberg area, the tribes that inhabit the area and modern day South African culture as we know it today.

Operating days: Mon – Sun

Duration: 2hrs 30min

Tour Times:

o   First tour: 08:00 am to 10:30 am

o   Second tour: 11:00 am to 13:30pm

Shuttle Pickup and Drop off Locations:
Sun City‌ / Sun Village‌ / Kingdom Resort‌ / Shepherds Tree Lodge‌ / Kwa Maritane‌ 

In this tour, guests are picked up from the designated shuttle stops to see the Mphebatho museum in Moruleng. At the end of the tour, guests will be dropped back off where they were picked up.

The tour will include a tour guide and a driver. The tour guide will provide great insights on the area and the history of the community during the trip to and from the museum.

 

All guests are expected to meet at the designated shuttle stops. Where they will be given a brief introduction / insight into the cultural village and what experiences we offer. .

 

The travel route used will be "The village route", which takes guests from the designated shuttle stops, via the main national roads, through Moruleng village, Lerome village, Mogwase village, and back to the designated shuttle stops where guests will be dropped off.

 

When guests arrive at the Mphebatho museum, they will be greeted by the museum staff members who will take the guests on a tour of the museum. Once guests have been taken through the museum, the shuttle will take guests back to the designated shuttle stops where the tour guide will conclude the tour for the guests.
